During the one-hour session, participants learn five key messages, ten signs and symptoms of dementia and helpful communication tips.

Dementia Friendly Dallas was formed by a group of individuals, businesses, and organizations committed to creating a community that is informed, safe, and respectful of individuals with dementia and their care partners. The goal is to create a community where individuals with dementia can live, engage, and thrive. Sponsored by Juliette Fowler Communities, Dementia Friendly Dallas is a North Texas program affiliated with Dementia Friendly America and part of the global Dementia Friendly movement. 

These sessions are free and open to the public.
