White Rock United Methodist Church is a faith community doing new things alongside vibrant neighborhoods in East Dallas. We strive to be a community of all ages, and we seek to be a church that places community at the heart of who we are. To accomplish that task, we take seriously the Gospel of Jesus and our charge to proclaim God’s love to all people.

This Gospel message is at the center of how we understand our relationship to God and our relationship to others. We believe that to have an active, vibrant relationship with Jesus, we must be searching and living into relationships with others that don’t always talk, act, look, or live like we do.

We believe that baptism and communion are vital components to living together in a faith community. We also place a significant importance on our Holy Scripture. We encourage ourselves to read this sacred text alongside our lived experience, our deep traditions, and our ability to reason. We gather together every Sunday to worship alongside our faith family.

We seek hard questions which don’t always have easy answers, and challenge ourselves to develop a faith that is uniquely our own. We hope you find time to experience White Rock UMC for yourself, where we believe God is doing amazing things with people like you.
