Thanks to Woodrow Wilson alum Kyle Rains, who let us know that two current Woodrow students, Collin Cole and Grey Vracin, are featured in a recent Slate story (Slate is a national online magazine covering news, politics and culture).
The Slate blog post discusses Texas-based photographer Nancy Newberry's photos, which capture the tradition of homecoming mums in Texas visually. Newberry became interested in the idea and look of homecoming mums after she broke both of her hands in a vehicle accident and spent time healing in Texas.
