At Woodrow Wilson, it was a great week of homecoming festivities with daily themes for student attire including Alien Day (!), the traditional HOCO parade that winds through east Dallas and includes floats from all Woodrow sports and clubs as well as feeder school Principals and students, pep rally including the Homecoming Grand Marshal Super-alum Kyle Rains teaching the students a cheer from the 1970's, as well as introducing the HOCO King and Queen and their Royal Court.  Next day there was the giving of ginormous Mums to HOCO dates, a festive pre-game BBQ tailgate, a pre-game walk of honor: seniors escorted across the football field by their proud parents and family.  This walk of honor included senior Sweethearts, Band members, Cheerleaders, and Football athletes.  Then a total blow-out game (63 to 0) to celebrate, followed the next day by a fantastic HOCO dance where all students were able to sing and dance until they couldn't.  Super fun was had by all.  Go Wildcats!  Join us soon for Woodrow's Open House--Tuesday, November 27!
