The Bi-District playoff game between Woodrow Wilson High School and Molina High School was an entirely one-sided affair dominated by the Wildcats. Woodrow's high scoring offense couldn't be stopped but it was the defense that shined as the Wildcats shut out Molina, 49-0.

Three of Woodrow's touchdowns were scored by defensive players. As part of a three touchdown scoring blitz in the first quarter, Sterling Turner returned a Molina fumble 29-yards for a touchdown. On the final play of the second quarter, Sam Keeter recovered another fumble and returned it for 50-yards for another score. And finally, Dezmond Handy intercepted a pass from Jaguars' quarterback Miguel Ortega and ran it back for a pick-six.

The defense provided all the scoring that the Wildcats needed to win but the offense wouldn't let the defense have all the fun. Running back Shaquille Dottin had the biggest night among offensive players, rushing 11 times for 168 yards and three touchdowns. For the night, he averaged an incredible 15.3 yards per carry.

Quarterback Piers Christian played backseat to Dottin but was still effective, completing seven passes for 92 yards, a touchdown and an interception. The touchdown pass was a 31-yard heave to wide receiver Andre Plata in the second quarter. Plata finished the game with six receptions for 86 yards and a score.
