About
Lakewood United Methodist Church is a local religious community that remains committed to connecting all people with God and sharing God's love in this unusual time as all are impacted by COVID-19. The way we do church may change, but our heart and values do not. We affirm that all people are beloved children of God and our faith moves us to welcome all persons of every age, gender identity, racial or ethnic background, sexual orientation, marital or socio-economic status, physical or mental ability to full participation in our faith community.

We are now offering a hybrid form of worship (in-person and virtual) Sundays at 10:30am. For those who are healthy and feel comfortable doing so, you are invited to join us in-person, as long as you follow these requirements:

Masks are required for everyone while indoors (we have disposable masks available)
Enter through designated doors through our garden and off of Lakeshore Dr.
Maintain 6 ft. distance in hallways and while sitting in pews
Some pews are blocked off to maintain appropriate distancing, family units can sit together
There are hand sanitizing stations throughout the building
If you are feeling ill or have a fever, please stay home

Our virtual worship can be accessed through Facebook and Zoom, and is still a wonderful way to connect with us, especially if you are uncomfortable with being in-person or these guidelines. Please see our website for up-to-date information and access to worship.
