In its 50 years, Bishop Lynch has produced more than 350 National Merit Scholars, was named the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Academic State Champions from 2004-2012, and for 10 consecutive years was recognized as overall TAPPS State Henderson Cup Champions for combined excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts. Known for its ability to challenge students of all talents and backgrounds, and due to the school’s college-preparatory curriculum, virtually 100 percent of graduates attend institutes of higher learning. Millions of dollars in scholarships are awarded yearly to Bishop Lynch students from such prestigious schools as Stanford University, Vanderbilt University, The University of Notre Dame, and the United States Military Academies.

Bishop Lynch hosts a nationally recognized arts program with a facility to match, and athletically, the Friars are known throughout the city, state, and nation as excellent athletes, fair competitors, and champions both on and off the field.
