Our Christmas Charity Project here at RE/MAX DFW Associates is to provide children’s bicycles to the Wilkinson Center this year. The Center will put these bicycles into the hands of less-privileged children during the Christmas season.

If you are feeling thankful for all your blessings during this Holiday Season, we invite you to participate in our program—the Bike-A-Thon.  Your donation of just $50 will allow us to purchase a bicycle like the ones in the photo above, and pass that bicycle on to the Wilkinson Center for distribution just before Christmas.

Here’s how it works:  Just before Christmas, a room in the Wilkinson Center is filled with donated toys and goodies that kids dream of finding under the Christmas tree. The parents of about 150 qualified families, in groups of 25, are invited to the Wilkinson center to “shop” for their children.

The Wilkinson Center is a leading poverty rescue and prevention agency for the working poor, serving more than 14,000 people annually, mainly in East and Southeast Dallas. Wilkinson Center offers hope, inspiration, and the basic necessities and tools to empower its clients to become self-sufficient and improve their lives.
