Jubilee Park & Community Center and East Dallas Church of Christ will host its annual Health & Prevention Expo on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Jubilee Park, located at 917 Bank Street in Dallas. The event is free and open to the Dallas community.
Sponsored by United Way and Healthy Outcomes through Prevention & Early Support (H.O.P.E.S.), the day-long fair will include screenings from the Agape Clinic and Parkland; cooking demonstrations from the YMCA, yoga and Zumba demonstrations, vision screenings by Carter Eye Care, gardening demonstration by Andrew Demler of Fair Park, mental health awareness by Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas, and over 30 booths featuring information on fair housing, fire prevention, recycling, insurance, nutrition, and more.
The day will also include food and fun for the entire family with barbeque sliders and apple slices provided by Sonny BBQ, face painting, sports clinics, games, raffle prizes, music by DJ Astronaut and a surprise visit by the Dallas Mavericks ManiAAcs.
