After a months-long wait, the Chipotle at Richmond and Abrams will open for burrito-loving Lakewood residents Friday, Jan. 24.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, the national fast food chain that touts itself for serving only "food with integrity" that has been "sustainably raised," will offer all of its usual favorites, including burritos, tacos, salads and burrito bowls full of meats like pork, steak and chicken that have been raised responsibly (plus hormone-free cheese and sour cream).

This particular location sports a rather colorful outside design complete with pink, orange and brown panels that really make the 2,132-square-foot eatery, adjacent to Whole Foods Market Lakewood, "pop" to passersby.

Chipotle at 2201 Abrams Road will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. starting the 24th, and it features a patio for outdoor eating. According to the restaurant chain, Lakewood's new Chipotle brings about 30 jobs to the area.
