Woodrow Wilson withstands late rally from Seagoville to claim third victory

Woodrow Wilson and Seagoville played a tight game all night and the Wildcats managed to withstand Seagoville's late rally to escape with their third victory of the season, 28-20. Woodrow is now 3-1 on the season and have one more home game next week to cap their three-game homestand.

Quarterback Piers Christian provided most of the firepower for Woodrow with two touchdowns through the air and one on the ground. As a team, the Wildcats only gained 139 yards total while Seagoville easily doubled their total with 316. But, Woodrow capitalized on numerous turnovers to escape with the victory.

Woodrow plays Hillcrest High School next week to cap their three-game homestand. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
