Bishop Lynch High School Homecoming Queen Top Ten (top row): Marie Phillips, Haley Puddy, Sofia Schleppenbach (middle row): Kimberly Walter, Katie Sutherland, Andrea Sigsbee, Bridget Hoofard (bottom row): Sunder Alcantar, Marcella Barrilleaux, Jackie Ramirez

The Bishop Lynch Friars continue their march through the season with a return to Roffino Stadium on Friday night to take on the Argyle Liberty Christian Warriors in the annual Homecoming Game.  The Friars are coming off a tough 45-36 loss to Midland Christian last Friday in Midland and the Warriors are flying high following a 47-7 drubbing of Fort Worth Nolan.

This is a matchup dominated by Argyle Liberty since they have made the move to 5A, as the Warriors have defeated the Friars in all four of the teams' previous games.  Bishop Lynch looks to get their first win in the series in front of a home crowd that has recently been energized by the play of Senior RB Rawleigh Williams III, who is third in the DFW area in rushing.

Homecoming festivities begin around 6:45 pm with the Homecoming Parade into Roffino Stadium.  The crowd will be introduced to the Homecoming Court at approximately 6:55 pm and at 7:05 pm, the Athletic Department will induct the 2014 Bishop Lynch Sports Honor Roll: Erin Briskie (Class of 2002), Larry Juricek (Class of 1977) and founding father, Tony Roffino (posthumously). During half time, the long-standing tradition of the Homecoming Queen crowing in will take place. The ladies of the 2014 Homecoming Court are Marie Phillips, Haley Puddy, Andrea Sigsbee, Kathryn Sutherland and Kimberly Walter.
