Homecoming in Texas is different from just about every other state in the country. Girls adorn themselves with massive mums, guys wear their garters and the sound of cowbells permeate throughout the halls of the school. And don't forget about the football game.

To pump up school spirit and get everyone ready for the Friday night game against Hillcrest High School, the annual Homecoming Parade is set to march off on Wednesday, September 21 at 5:30 p.m. After the parade, there will be a big tailgate party and pep rally to further get the blood pumping.

The football team is actually in the midst of a strong start to the 2011 season and will be seeking their fourth win. Kickoff against Hillcrest is at 7:30 p.m.
