Dallas ISD has implemented new policies this year to protect students against bullying. While this is a positive step forward, Woodrow Wilson parents may be not aware that it affects them. Student information is no longer released for print by DISD because of the anti-bullying policies. Parents will have to "opt-in" to have their information in the Directory.

Parents will have to submit their student's information directly to the PTA to be in the Directory. There multiple ways to do this, such as emailing the Directory Chairman or submitting the form to your student's advisor. You can also fill out the Directory form online or just pay an admissions fee of $10 and join the PTA. Membership in the PTA will get you a free Directory; non-members can purchase the Directories after they've been printed.

Parents do not have to be in the PTA to have their information in the Directory. However, being in the PTA is a very good way to know what is going on at the school and around the district.
