This fall, come celebrate 35 years of tradition at the Lakewood Home Festival in East Dallas area. The Home Festival takes place over the course of three days from Friday, November 11 till Sunday, November 13 and is filled with fun events that attract over 4,000 attendees each year.

The goal of the event is to raise money for Lakewood schools, specifically Lakewood Elementary, J.L. Long Middle and Woodrow Wilson High School. So far, the event has raised over a million dollars for the schools.

The event will begin with an exclusive Candlelight Tour of the homes on Friday and is followed by the Casino Party and Auction at the Lakewood Country Club. This year’s theme, “Lakewoodville,” is sure to bring out the parrothead in all the guests.

There will be plenty to see and do on Saturday and Sunday. Guests can visit the popular Café and try out the many eateries it has to offer. Or, they can stop by The Market, which will play host to numerous vendors, including award-winning artists and juried craftspeople. The Market has always been a favorite of attendees and is a good place to find early holiday gifts.

Finally, the premier event is the Lakewood Home Tour, featuring six architecturally distinctive homes in the Lakewood area. One of the homes include Herbert Marcus’ original estate and set for Pamela Ewing’s home on the show “Dallas.”
