Woodrow Wilson students have precious time left to prepare for Fall Play auditions

Woodrow Wilson will be having auditions for the its Fall Play early next week on Monday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Any performer that earns a callback will return on Tuesday, August 30 and Wednesday, August 31. The auditions are open to any Woodrow student that is interested.

The play, which is being overseen by John Beaird, is "The Madwoman of Chaillot" by Jean Giradoux. It's a French comedy that follows the story of a group of corrupt politicians that want to drill for oil beneath Paris but are foiled by a group of good-hearted women set on making the world a better place.

This is a great opportunity for student to get involved in one of the school's top extra-curricular activities. The play itself will be held for three days on October 13, 14 and 15. Students should pick up materials for the audition at Mr. Beaird's room in preparation for the auditions.
