Undefeated Woodrow Wilson begins three-game homestand against North Forney

Woodrow Wilson is 2-0 to the start the 2011 football season and both of those wins have come on the road. The Wildcats finally get to play in front of their home crowd this weekend on Friday, September 9 against North Forney.

Quarterback Piers Christian and running back Shaquille Dottin have been the main catalysts for Woodrow's offense the past two games. Dottin has rushed 36 times for 252 yards (7.0 yards per rush) and 4 touchdowns. Meanwhile, Christian has completed 23 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns. He is also the second-leading rusher on the team with 141 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground.

North Forney is led by their dual-threat quarterback Stephen Buckley. Buckley has only 12 completions for 156 yards but he has also rushed for 161 yards and four touchdowns. Their running back, Giresse Forchu, has rushed for 357 yards but has only found the endzone twice.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m. at Franklin Stadium.
