Get into the swing of the second annual St. John’s Episcopal School raffle! This year’s raffle, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of Plano, Parker School Uniforms, Allie Beth Allman & Associates and Veritex Community Bank/Veritex Mortgage, will feature a grand prize of $10,000 in NorthPark Gold.
Raffle co-chairs and East Dallas residents Molly and Leon Banowetz announce that raffle tickets will go on sale December 1 through March 15, 2013 and can be purchased by visiting stjohnsschool.org/raffle. Tickets are $100 each or 6 for $500.
In addition to the grand prize, other prizes will be awarded including a second place prize of $2,500 in NorthPark Gold and a third place prize of $1,000 in NorthPark Gold. NorthPark Gold may be redeemed at all participating retailers, restaurants, spas and theatres in NorthParkCenter, one of America’s premier shopping centers. Winning tickets will be drawn at the “In the Swing” Golf-n-Gala on March 15, 2013; winners need not be present to win.
“Molly and I are thrilled to co-chair the second annual raffle and announce an increase in NorthPark Gold for our second and third place winners. Last year’s raffle raised over $67,000 for the students at St. John’s Episcopal School, and we know with the support of the Dallas community we can surpass that amount in 2013,” remarked Leon Banowetz, Raffle Co-Chair.
The raffle coincides with the private school’s annual fundraising event, “In the Swing” Golf-n-Gala,” which will be held on March 15, 2013 at Dallas Athletic Club. For the first time in St. John’s Episcopal School’s history, the Golf-n-Gala will combine the Crusader Dad’s Club’s golf tournament with the Parents Association’s evening Auction for one grand fundraising event. Along with the golf tournament, these two events raise proceeds every year that are used for student scholarships, classroom technology, continuing education for our teachers, and after-school student activities.
