During this one-hour virtual baking class on Friday, Oct. 30 from 6-7 p.m., children and parents will get the opportunity to learn about the parts of the brain, and how those parts affect our feelings and emotions.
The class is free of charge (aside from families buying their own ingredients to have on-hand), but there is a suggested $5 donation to Teach For America DFW if families are able. Donate here and select the DFW region.
This science based social-emotional lesson will be led by Michelle Kinder, in partnership with Stephanie Leichtle-Chalklen, owner of Dallas’ Kuluntu Bakery. All ages are welcome to attend.
