Dallas residents can drop off their live Christmas tree at any Home Depot store in Dallas between December 26, 2012 and January 7, 2013 and the city will turn it into mulch. 

There is no charge for this service and the tree did not have to be purchased at a Home Depot store. 

Home Depot's at 11255 Garland Rd. and 6000 Skillman St. are two locations convenient to Lakewood/East Dallas residents.  

Trees will be collected curb side during resident's normal week for bulk trash and brush pick-up, but they will not be recycled.
