With the leaves starting to turn and temperatures beginning to dip, it's the perfect time to enjoy some savory chili and spend a little time outdoors.

And you'll get your chance to do both at Lakewood Elementary's FallFest and Concert. Scheduled for October 27th, the fall festival will have a chili cook-off, a student talent show, food trucks and plenty of fun games and activities for the whole family. The festival portion takes place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Be sure to stick around after the festival for several concerts on the lawn. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket and listen to the tunes of several local bands while you relax under the stars. The concert portion of the evening runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Food trucks and concessions will still be open during this time.)
