The Varsity Cheerleaders competed in the TAPPS Division 2 Large Division State Competition on November 29-30, in Waco, Texas. The team placed fifth overall, which, according to Varsity Cheer Coach Mylana Burt, is "amazing, because we were competing against large competition squads."
The entire Upper School gathered in the cafeteria to watch the live stream of the event and show their support.
Junior Tyler McCall was honored with First Team All-State. Senior Reese Brown and sophomore Loveth Heard received Second Team All State.
