The countdown has begun, just one month until the SPCA of Texas’ annual Fur Ball gala. Before the big event, current and former Fur Ball Chairs and Host Committees took the chance to wine down and relax on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Sevy’s Grill in Preston Hollow.
Fur Ball 2019 Chairs John and Lana Payne kicked off the evening by raising their glasses in salute to their predecessors, welcoming the group as they celebrated all of the successes of the chairs who came before them and the legacy they have built. The entire group joins the SPCA of Texas in being thrilled about this year’s upcoming event, which has the grandest live auction yet, thanks to Auction Chairs Sandra Fite and Julia Howard, and includes a special partnership with Tito’s Vodka for Dog People.
The SPCA of Texas is sincerely grateful to the dedicated group for all they have done for the animals in North Texas! Guests included 80th anniversary Chair Cindy Lindsley and Co-Chair Jennifer Lindsley, SPCA of Texas sponsor and former Honorary Chair Russell E. This year’s black tie gala will be held at the iconic Hyatt Regency Hotel from 6:30pm to midnight on Saturday, September 21st. Fur Ball 2019 marks our 81st anniversary of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming helpless animals in the North Texas community.
