The Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Tri Delta is hosting its 12th annual Cookies & Castles event benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The “Gingerbread Extravaganza” will be a two-day event and Tri Delta is well on its way to exceeding this year’s goal of donating $150,000 back to the hospital and bringing the total giving to more $650,000.

The 2019 event will include a Ladies Luncheon on December 13th from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m., emceed by Katy Blakey of Channel 5. This event allows friends to gather for lunch while they decorate their gingerbread castles.

The Family Day on December 14th has two seatings, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m., where families and children enjoy decorating beautiful gingerbread castles in a fun-filled, candy wonderland with a special visit from Santa. After each event the masterpiece is packaged to take home and enjoy for the holidays.

“For over a decade, Dallas Tri Delta Alumnae has had so much fun hosting this event benefiting the Prosthetics department at Scottish Rite Hospital. We are committed to help fulfill the hospital’s mission of giving children back their normal childhood. We would not be successful without all of our generous sponsors especially our premier sponsor, the DFW Acura Dealers,” said Katie Broussard and Laurel Looney, Cookies & Castles event chairmen.
