All aboard for Woodrow Wilson's Fine Arts Department's rousing musical, Anything Goes, setting sail April 18-21. As the S.S. American heads out to sea, hold on tight for a bumpy ride as two unlikely pairs chart a course for true love...with lots of help from singing sailors, exotic disguises and plain old down and dirty blackmail.

Cole Porter’s music and lyrics will have you singing along to old standards like "You're the Top," "It's De-Lovely," "I Get A Kick Out of You" and "Anything Goes!". The show first played to packed crowds in 1934, and the latest Broadway show won the Tony award for "Best Revival of A Musical" in 2011.

You will be enchanted as neighborhood favorites Hannah Milici (Reno Sweeney), Zach Youpa (Billy Crocker) Sofia Elam (Hope Harcourt), Russell Regan (Lord Evelyn Oakleigh) and Cal Little (Moonface Martin) are joined by Phoebe Sturgis (Evangeline Harcourt), Luke Witten (Elisha Whitney) and Gabby DeRouen (Erma) to take you sailing through a magical trip down memory lane.

Fine Arts Department and Musical Director John Beaird is thrilled to bring this engaging show to the Woodrow stage with the assistance of the school's new Music Director, Alberto Torres. Beaird describes the show as “a timeless classic that is still hilarious. After having spent the last couple of years doing very contemporary shows, it is so great for our students to work on one of the great classics of the American musical theatre. This show has had almost universal appeal for audiences for close to eighty years.”

Hundreds of students, parents and volunteers work thousands of hours to bring the Woodrow musical tradition to the neighborhood each year.
