Woodrow One Act Play Goes to UIL Competition

Woodrow Wilson High School will be presenting its Spring One Act Play in UIL competition at noon on Saturday, March 3 at Bryan Adams High School. 

Synopsis: in a post-nuclear holocaust society dedicated to absolute conformity, a group of young people discover they have an unusual gift of communication. Betrayed from within, they escape into the forbidden Fringes.

David Harrower's adaptation of John Wyndham's novel The Chrysalids was specially commissioned by the Royal National Theatre for the BT National Connections Scheme for young people.

Cast members include seniors Michael Watson, John Keeter, William Warncke, Cade Fennegan, jack Watkins, Elizabeth McPherson, Isabella Albert, Juliette Betzer (stage manager) juniors Quinn Bull, Kendyl Loper, Caroline Kulas, Jackson Hansen, Piper Duke, Sophia Rogers, and Kendall Platt( tech), Spencer Davis ( tech), Katie Dickson (tech), Matthew Gresback ( tech), sophomore Emma Pate, freshmen Jaden Ramirez and Shriver Hansen, (lights).
