On the evening of Thursday, Feb. 21, local author Matt Bondurant will be at the Lakewood Branch Library to discuss his historical novel, The Wettest County in the World, set in Virginia during the Prohibition Era, when his family made a living by bootlegging. The 2012 movie, Lawless, was based on Bondurant’s book. A book sale and signing will follow the presentation. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for light refreshments.
