In the U.S. News and World Report 2019 America's Best High Schools rankings, Woodrow Wilson High School finished 2,564 out of over 23,000 high schools in the nation. Woodrow finished higher, at 1,680, in the national college readiness rank. In Texas WWHS placed 217 of 2,057 high schools.  Woodrow offers both Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) classes.  In TEA ratings last summer, Woodrow received the highest possible rating, with all distinctions earned.
