Don’t miss a special appearance at noon by local historian and humorist Rose-Mary Rumbley, who attended the 1938 opening of the library. She will present a short history of the branch library with her usual wit and insight.

The Annual Book Sale offers more than 7,500 well-organized, gently used books and other media items at bargain prices and features an extensive collection of cook books, textbooks, and books on parenting, self-help, and astrology.
