ABOUT CHRIST'S FAMILY CLINIC

The mission of Christ’s Family Clinic is simple: provide high-quality health careto the uninsured in an atmosphere of dignity and respect, regardless of race or religion. Founded in 2003, Christ’s Family Clinic is a 501(c)3 that began with apartnership with Preston Road Church of Christ. In contrast to other charity clinics that focus primarily on providing acute care to their patients, the Clinic’s care focuses on comprehensive, preventative care that addresses a wide range of chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and cardiac issues. Most charity clinics have targeted patients on Medicaid. Christ’s Family Clinic cares for the hardworking members of our community who do not get health insurance through their employer, and do not have the financial means to afford private private health insurance.

Today, the Clinic has expanded to the entire lower level of the church and patient volume, just via word-of-mouth referrals, has increased an average of 20 percent annually. The Clinic facilities include: three exam rooms, a full Ophthalmology suite, and an in-house lab. Dental care has been provided through volunteer dentists at their own offices. The Clinic is as nice as any private practice in the area. The number of volunteer physicians has grown to 16 and includes a list of specialists as well.
