TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation recently added Jon Quesnel to the Board of Directors.

“We are honored to have Jon Quesnel, Chief Development Officer for Northwestern Mutual Dallas/Fort Worth, join us as one of our newest board members with TeamConnor,” said Joy Cruse, Founder of TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation. “He understands the value in the importance of funding novel childhood cancer research and stands ready as a trained leadership volunteer to help us in the fight for childhood cancer.  We are honored to have a member of the Dallas/Fort Worth Northwestern Mutual leadership team join us as childhood cancer is the philanthropic platform for the company nationwide.

Quesnel has been with Northwestern Mutual for over 10 years and resides in Frisco with his wife, Sally, and their three young children.  “I've been around TeamConnor for years as a volunteer and donor. I have always admired the volunteers and staff, the fundraising events, and the incredible stories of hope, through funding research, that this organization continues to provide for those who are facing this giant of a disease. This is important to me because so many children and families are negatively impacted by this terrible disease, and I hope that TeamConnor can continue to fund breakthrough research that creates an environment where more people live with hope and better chances of survival.  If our research grants give hope to more people through medical breakthroughs, then God is glorified and hope is renewed for many” said Quesnel.

TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation was founded in 2008 while Connor Cruse was in the midst of his four-year battle with neuroblastoma cancer. Connor lost his battle in 2009, but TeamConnor remains committed to fight cancer and ultimately finds a cure for all childhood cancers.

TeamConnor hosts fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds for childhood cancer research, including the upcoming 17th Annual III Forks Golf Classic, May 3, 2021. For more information on TeamConnor events, contact Sydney Little, special events and outreach coordinator, at slittle@teamconnor.org or (214) 233-6741.

Since 2008, TeamConnor has donated more than $4.5 million to numerous hospitals across the country in its mission to fund improved treatment options and ultimately cures for childhood cancers.
