The Lakehill Warriors rolled past the Lakeland Christian Lions with a convincing 70-20 victory on Friday night at the Josey Ranch Sports Complex in Carrollton. The Warriors jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back. Lakehill led 34-0 at halftime, and closed out the game with the 45-point "mercy" rule in the fourth quarter. The win was a complete team effort, with every player making contributions.

Lakehill's defense set the tone early with a number of big hits and tackles for losses. The defense was paced by seniors Johnathan Page (12 tackles and one interception), Hudson Trent (eight tackles and one interception), and Keith Mitchell (four tackles and one safety). Freshman Keaton Kinnard added five tackles and one interception.

On offense, the Warriors had strong performances from junior Cole Ellis (122 pass yards with two touchdowns and 35 receiving yards with two touchdowns), Johnathan Page (157 receiving yards, three touchdowns), and junior Jack Pippen (35 all-purpose yards and many key blocks). The surprise standout for the night was freshman Brandon Bartholow, who ran for 167 yards and three touchdowns, including the final score to end the game.

Lakehill celebrates Homecoming on Friday, October 4 at the Warrior Athletic Complex. The Warriors will host the Fairhill Falcons with kick-off set for 7:30 p.m. All Lakehill alumni are invited to a pre-game dinner on the Alumni Patio at 6:30 p.m.
