“We are extremely excited about getting this first race off the ground,” said Chris Angarola, President of the Friends of the Santa Fe Trail.  “We are very please with our race partner Run On! and the other terrific sponsors that have signed on.  We hope to have over 500 runners in the inaugural race which will then become benchmark for future races.”

Race Director Lear Johnson said, “The Santa Fe 5K is a great addition to the East Dallas scene. This unique Thursday evening race will be fun with the live music, beer and of course every foodies dream…a slew of food trucks. We are thrilled to help host this race,”

The Santa Fe 5k race registration begins at 5:15pm with the race starting at 6:15. The post-race after party will conclude at 8pm.  Registration and more information can be handled through the Friends of the Santa Fe Trail website and Facebook.
