Honorary Guest John Tesar, Erin Cihak and President of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas Charles English

On September 25, 2014, the East Dallas Boys & Girls Club Advisory Council hosted its annual event, Foodiepalooza, at Times Ten Cellars. The evening raised funds to support the East Dallas Boys & Girls Club programs, events, collegiate scholarships and club renovations.  Critically acclaimed chef and James Beard Award semifinalist, John Tesar, of Spoon Bar & Kitchen and Knife, mingled with guests as they enjoyed an evening of food, music and wine. Nationally renowned pastry chef Katie Kennedy and chef Grant Morgan of The Ranch at Las Colinas were also in attendance.

Scott Murray, chairman and CEO of Murray Media and host of Conversations with Scott Murray and Texas Daily, emceed the event, while guests munched on salads courtesy of Crisp Salad Co, a cheese course from Sprouts, and heavy hors d’oeuvres from Marcona Kitchen. The evening also included a silent and live auction with offerings such as: dining events at Spoon Bar & Kitchen and Knife; a VIP Las Vegas getaway; a private wine tasting for 20; local restaurant and wine packages; travel certificates and much, much more! Guests also danced to music from Texas native, Chris Austin Martinez, and struck a pose in the complimentary photo booth!
