Dallas’ go-to-shop for jewelry design needs, Beads of Splendor is now open at White Rock Lake Shopping Center on Garland Road.  To celebrate the grand reopening, the local bead boutique will host a Turquoise Trunk Show November 15 (10:00am-5:00pm) and 16 (1:00pm-4:00pm), showcasing the finest Turquoise beads and nuggets from the Southwest including the Kingman, Sleeping Beauty, Nevada, Sonoran Campidos, and Mexico Mines.

Throughout history, people of many cultures have prized turquoise’s beautiful blues and greens for decoration and credit the gemstone with mystical and medicinal powers. This is a unique opportunity to share in the romance and mystery of turquoise of the Southwest. The collection includes beads and stones for jewelry making as well as handmade necklaces, earrings and bracelets.  This is a unique opportunity to view and purchase from the collection before it is released to the public and other retailers.

Beads of Splendor offers introductory advanced and co-design jewelry making classes from basic stringing, knotting and wire working to soldering.  With more than 2,000 square feet of space including a classroom for the almost daily classes, Beads of Splendor offers over 10,000 strands of semi-precious beads hand-selected from across the world by founders Diana and Harlan Thatcher and their daughters Kristin and Keeley.
