Students and parents have been counting down the days left of summer vacation before school starts up again on Monday, August 22. New clothes, backpacks and school supplies have all been bought. Kids are (hopefully) getting used to waking up earlier in the day.

But, it would be a sad start to the school year if students woke up at the wrong time for school. Dallas ISD has changed school hours for all schools in the district. Classes now begin at 9:00 a.m. instead of 8:45 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. instead of 3:45 p.m. So set your alarm clocks accordingly!
