Students are desperately scrambling to squeeze out every last drop of summer fun before school starts up again on Monday, August 27. However, there are many students that are eager for the new school year to begin, as it is a good chance to meet old friends, see new people and visit former teachers.

Students at Woodrow Wilson will return to a bigger, better school after renovations to school happened over the summer. However, that isn't the only thing that has changed for students. There is also a new bell schedule that students should be aware of if they want their first day back to be a success:

  • 3rd Period – 10:37 – 11:23 a.m.
  • 4th Period – 11:28 a.m. – 1:01 p.m.
    • A Lunch – 11:23 – 11:53 a.m.
    • B Lunch – 11:57 a.m. – 12:27 p.m.
    • C Lunch – 12:31 – 1:01 p.m.
  • 5th Period – 1:06 – 1:52 p.m.
  • 6th Period – 1:57 – 2:43 p.m.
  • 7th Period – 2:48 – 3:34 p.m.
  • 8th Period – 3:39 – 4:25 p.m.

Students interested in auditioning for the Fall play should be aware that auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 28 and Wednesday, August 29. Students can pick up audition materials from the Theater teacher, Mr. Beaird, at his portable (P145) on the first day of school. Callbacks will be on Thursday, August 30.
