Ellis Langford prepares a shoebox for Captain Hope's Kids.

Lakehill's Tribes gathered on February 18 to fill 120 shoeboxes with small gifts, toys, school supplies, toiletries, and special surprises. The wrapped boxes were then delivered to Captain Hope's Kids for their Hope in a Box program.

This program provides wrapped and filled shoeboxes for school-age children who are celebrating their birthdays, holidays, or other events while living in a shelter or temporary housing. The boxes provide a great opportunity for children of all ages and backgrounds to help other children who are less fortunate.
