Luca Chatham, Woodrow Wilson High School, will be competing in the 800M and the 1600M this Friday in the UIL Texas State Track and Field Championships. Luca will be the only 5A male that qualified for both the 800M and the 1600M. Luca's mother, Suzanne Sheffield Chatham, is a 2003 inductee into the Texas A&M Athletic Hall Of Fame. She still holds the 800M record for women at Texas A&M. Suzanne ran her junior and senior years at the championships but did not win. Luca will run track for University of Texas at San Antonio next year.
