This year, the JL Long 6th/7th Grade YMCA Soccer awards ceremony was held on Thursday, May 28th at the JL Long Café. As the wettest season in the past 4 years came to a close, various members of our esteemed Buccaneer players were selected for highest honors. This year was the first year we had enough players to have 2 separate teams, red and blue.

For the Red Team: Male MVP – Juan Diaz, Female MVP – Ava Vanderedon

Male Team Captain - Nathaniel San Juan, Female Team Captain – Ivy Frannea

For the Blue Team: Male MVP – Miguel Vara, Female MVP – Isabella Heuberger

Male Team Captain – Moises Maldonado, Female Team Captain – Miranda Lopez

All members of both teams received participation medals and various other awards were presented. Both Coach Jared and Coach Victor look forward to another exciting season next Fall.
