Any budding artist looking to get their foot in the door of the art world should submit their best work for the Cottonwood Art Festival in the spring - May 5 & 6. However, the deadline to submit art for consideration is Friday, January 13, so don't tarry.

The Cottonwood Art Festival is in its 44th year and is the fifth best art festival in the United States and is the premier fine arts event in North Texas. For their spring festival, the event will be open from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday (May 5) and from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday (May 6). It is being held at Cottonwood Park in Richardson and admission is free for all who attend.

An expected 1,400 artists will be submitting work for the juried show. The judges will choose 240 artists to exhibit their museum-quality paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, fine glass, woodwork, mixed media and photography. All art submitted must be for sale. Artists who are interested in submitting art for consideration should apply here by Friday, January 13.
