Last week was "Meet the Coaches" at Woodrow Wilson High School.  This was a great opportunity for incoming and returning students to learn about all of the sports offered at Woodrow before school starts, and all in the same room.  Woodrow's new principal, Steven Ewing, was there meeting and greeting parents and students.  An inspirational speech about the new school year was given by the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach, Bobby Estes.  Sports are a wonderful part of the high school experience at Woodrow, which was apparent by the amount of students who attended.  The Sports Booster Club was present offering hot dogs and chips, as well as single sport yard signs, spirit t-shirts, and greatly appreciated Woodrow monogrammed stadium seats.  Here is the link for parents and neighbors who would like to join the club, Join Sports Booster Club .  This is going to be a great year in sports for Woodrow--Go Wildcats!
