Live Sculpting and Tours with Bronze Sculpture Artist Gary Lee Price

Come enjoy a walking tour with Sculptor Gary Lee Price Friday, October 7 and learn about his inspiration for creating the Great Contributors statues on display in the garden. 

October 8-9, enjoy an inspirational lecture with Gary Lee Price, followed by a Great Contributors walking tour.  Complimentary seats are available for the first 100 guests.

Don’t miss the complimentary live group sculpting in the Pecan Grove. Sculpting sessions at 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

The Que Pastas Musical Performance in Children’s Garden - Sunday, October 9, 11a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Que Pastas have been described as a modern day version of "The Wiggles" and are a kindie (kid + indie = kindie) band based in Austin. Formed around the core of songwriter Gene Davis and multi-instrumentalist Simon Flory, the Que Pastas play 100 + shows a year for events that range to major festivals to small libraries.

Columbus Day Children’s Concert and Activities - Monday, October 10

The ever popular Eddie Coker Children’s Concert, sponsored by DallasChild, will perform at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn.  Children's activities include face-painting, Kindermusik and a petting zoo.
