One of nature's most beautiful presentations of color is starting to unfold now at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. A wave of delicate pink and white cherry blossoms on the Arboretum's 150 cherry blossom trees are starting to unfold, announcing their annual arrival and ushering in springtime.
The flowering Cherry Trees are expected to be in full bloom within the next week. This is taking place during Dallas Blooms, the largest floral festival in the Southwest with the theme Peace, Love and Flower Power, through April 9. Named one of the “South’s Best Botanical Gardens,” by Southern Living Magazine, it showcases an explosion of color with vintage VW floral topiaries and more than 500,000 spring-blooming blossoms, sponsored by IBERIABANK.
