The Stadium Blitz race is taking over Gerald J. Ford Stadium on Saturday, April 6, with a course designed to give participants, ages seven and up, the opportunity to challenge themselves in a unique athletic event. Participants and spectators are encouraged to keep the party going Gronk style at the “Blitz Zone”, a fan festival area that is free to the general public, and will feature a DJ, food, entertainment, merchandise and giveaways.
Stadium Blitz is a points-based obstacle race course with three levels of obstacles: Race, Hustle and Blitz. The Race has five obstacles that are designed to challenge participants of all athletic abilities, while the Hustle obstacles add more difficulty. The Blitz has five obstacles designed for the elite level athletic ability. Contestants can compete against the clock or against other teams. Point values are determined by the level of difficulty of obstacles successfully completed.
Dallas will kick off the Stadium Blitz tour as it launches in venues across the country. Founded by brothers Rob, Chris, Glenn, Dan and Gordie Gronkowski, the obstacle course race will travel to the University of Houston next on May 4. Please visit www.stadiumblitz.com to get tickets and learn more.
