What to Expect:

• Beat the heat with extended summer hours as the garden opens at 8 a.m. through Sept. 20.
• A special Window to the Wild experience on Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. showcasing a variety of birds at the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn.
• Family favorite Country Critters Petting Zoo returns to the Pecan Grove from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing children the opportunity for close-up animal encounters all weekend.
• Daily piano performances in Jeanne’s Pavilion from 12 to 2 p.m. amplify the serene ambiance of the Dallas Arboretum.
