When looking to remodel the upstairs portion of their M Streets home, Ginny and her husband started with a Google search and came across CB Construction. Ginny contacted Chris Black, owner of CB Construction, to set up a time to meet.
“He got back to me within about an hour, when the others [contractors] took about three days to respond,” she said.
After their first meeting with Chris, the couple made the decision to hire CB Construction.
“He’s the only one who came to the house. When he said he could do the project in the time we discussed…I didn’t even need to talk to the others after that.”
CB Construction completely rebuilt the upstairs portion of the couple's home, adding an entertainment center and bar area.
Ginny said the work was done quickly, while noting that both Chris, as well as Chase Bryant, CB Construction’s Lead Carpenter, were always available with a quick response to answer any questions she had about the project.
On top of the quality of work they received, Ginny was most impressed with how attentive the company was during the remodeling process.
She said both Chris and Chase were also active and accommodating when she needed help selecting materials.
“If I could narrow a choice down to about three options, they would give their opinion on what worked best,” Ginny said.
Going beyond the superior results, she was happy with how the company adhered to the original budget for the project.
“They were very honest with the price and stayed within the budget the entire time.”
Ginny said she’d definitely choose CB Construction again for future remodeling projects.
“We’re extremely happy with the space and have already had a lot of people over to show off the work!”
