With Thanksgiving over, it’s time to turn an eye towards the Winter Holidays. And while receiving gifts is always fun and exciting, the real joy comes from the gift of giving. So pitch in and help the Dallas Area Rapid Transit with their annual “Stuff a Bus” campaign starting Friday, December 2. 

Customers of DART are invited to help stuff a 40-foot long DART bus by donating canned food, socks, blankets and unwrapped toys. The donations from this campaign will support two DART-employee initiated campaigns, Santa Cops and Comforting of the Souls.

Santa Cops will use the food and toys to provide meals and gifts to families in the area. Meanwhile, Comforting of the Soul will take the blankets and socks to Dallas-area nursing homes.

Donations can be dropped off at the Mockingbird Station parking lot from 6:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. Look for the specially marked bus when dropping off donations.
