The summer heat has been unrelenting this past month but Lakewood residents will get a chance to cool off this weekend because it's the return of the annual Tietze Splash at Tietze Park this Saturday, July 30. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and end after dusk at 9 p.m.

Tietze Splash is sponsored by the Lakewood Heights Neighborhood Association, Lower Greenville Neighborhood Association, Wilshire Height Neighborhood Association and Friends of Tietze Park Foundation. The event is free for all and music, food and refreshments will be provided.

So if this scorching summer weather is proving too much to handle, come on out and beat the heat at Tietze Splash!
