It seems that White Rock Lake isn’t good for just biking, running and fishing. WFAA.com reported that police seized 17 marijuana plants on Wednesday night along Highland Road and Barbaree Boulevard.

The police discovered the plants when they received a tip from a real estate broker who was showing the land to a client and accidentally found the plants. However, not all the policemen left unscathed. Several of the officers brushed against poison ivy while gathering the marijuana.

Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel helped treat the afflicted officers.
